Below is a list of re-enactment groups who cover the thirteenth century, many we know very well and they will help you create a superb impression of someone living in the time of the Second Barons War.

Others who we are not yet familiar with, hopefully will become friends and embrace our safety and kit guides - these are very detailed and can be found on the re-enactor information page. 

Anyone wishing to take part at the Battle of Evesham must adhere to these guides for the enjoyment and safety of the public and your fellow re-enactors. All good re-enactment group management teams will be familiar with safety and kit guides and will support you as you discover life and war of 1265.

Each group will welcome enquiries from potential new members and most offer free taster sessions where you can borrow kit. Membership fees will vary as will training sessions. 

Most groups would also like to hear from organisations wishing to hire medieval soldiers and living history – these funds support the development and maintenance of kit and clothing.
