Once submitted, the Battle of Evesham team will let you know if your application has been successful a member of our team will be in touch with details of how to pay your £50 deposit.
Your pitch is not guaranteed until you pay your deposit.
An invoice for full payment will be sent, and is required to be paid no later than 2 weeks before the start of the event.
Terms & Conditions Evesham Medieval Market 2026 Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th May 2026
I/We indemnify ‘Evesham Medieval Market’ (Battle of Evesham Ltd) and the organisers against all claims, damages or losses however caused, from my occupation of Evesham Abbey Church Grounds or Evesham Market Square and surrounding areas and I/we have read and agree to the terms and conditions listed.
- Silent generators are allowed on site but must be kept secure and away from the public.
- No application will be considered without an appropriate and a current risk assessment and copy of public liability insurance to a minimum value of £2 million and covering the date of the event. Food traders must be 4 or 5 star food hygiene rated and display a certificate, along with allergen information on their stand at all times during the festival.
- For health & safety reasons NO VEHICLE will be allowed onto the festival areas, until the festival has been officially closed – security team or Festival marshals will indicate when this is possible. NO EXCEPTIONS, other than emergency vehicles.
- ‘Battle of Evesham Trust’ & 'Battle of Evesham Ltd’ reserves the right to refuse admission to any trade stall or exhibitor to Evesham Abbey Church Grounds or Evesham Market Square.
- Traders will be allowed to start setting up from Friday 12-noon, Saturday 8am on the morning of the event. All stalls must be set up and vehicles vacated the area before 9:30am.
- Setting up is from Friday noon. Traders are 100% responsible for any items left onsite. Camping on-site for traders is allowed Friday and Saturday.
- Trading hours on Saturday and Sunday are from 10:00hrs. The festival closes to the public 17:00hrs Sunday. We leave it up to the individual trader, If you wish to leave before the end you will have to do this without bringing your vehicle onto the grounds.
- All traders must ensure that they comply with Health & Safety Regulations and any other relevant regulations as necessary.
- All traders are responsible for the clearing up and removal of any litter and trade waste in their trading area. If any rubbish generated from you or your customers could be taken home, this would be greatly appreciated. There will be trade bins onsite, but we would require stalls to remove their rubbish. Please do not leave any rubbish on Crown Meadow, Viaduct Meadow or Corporation Meadow, as Wychavon District Council will send penalty charges out.
- Battle of Evesham Ltd is unable to supply electric, any equipment, including gazebos, tables and chairs for use by any trader. Unless we specifically offer to provide them.
- There will be no amplified noise as part of your stall unless specifically agreed in advance.
- All mobile caterers and non-food/drink stalls, must comply with the requirements of the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995, Food Safety (Temperature Control) Regulations 1995, The Food Safety Act 1990, and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 as applicable.
- In the event of your cancellation after payment, there will be a forfeit of 25% of the total pitch price. If the cancellation occurs within 14 days of the event, the total cost will be forfeited.
- All traders' fees must be settled prior to the event, unless agreed. You may not be permitted access to the ground and any deposits already paid will be non-refundable.
- Application must include payment; minimum of £50 secures the booking of your stall for the 2026 event (on a first comes first serves basis). No post-dated cheques will be accepted. By signing this form, you agree to all terms and conditions set by 'Battle of Evesham Ltd’ payments and refunds process.
- Onsite BBQ's/cooking will be permitted, so long as they are deemed authentic and are kept off of the grass – to prevent scorching. There will be plenty of great food traders and local pubs/restaurants to choose from.
- All stallholders must comply with directions and instructions from Marshals on the day during hours of setup and event. Failure to comply will result in removal of your stall from the event.
- Movement of vehicles on site will be kept at 5mph and with vehicles hazard lights on. Marshals and staff will be on premises to ensure this and please be aware of their presence on site.
- Warning orders, including car park passes, site map and your scheduled arrival times will be sent out 4 weeks before the festival. These are subject to change, and final revisions will be sent out during the week leading up to the festival.
FOOD AND DRINK TRADERS ARE ADVISED THAT HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE WILL BE ON SITE FRIDAY EVENING
YOU ARE WELCOME TO OPEN-UP AND SERVE THEM
As the market gets more prominent, we are having to be more compliant with the requirements of local authorities, all traders need to ensure that their certificates, licences, and insurances are in good order.
