The Evesham Lantern Parade, 26 November 2026

  • 5:30pm LP team arrives at Market Square

  • 5:45pm LP Stewards arrive

  • 5:50pm LP Stewards briefing (Hein)

  • 6:15pm EODS singers, Dance Fest and Morris dancers ready to perform

  • 6:00pm Public arrives

  • 6:15pm Start parade 

In the order 1) Simon de Montfort, Prince Edward and knights, 2) Clive Stewart, 4) Public and Stewards.

While the parade meanders through the Church yard and Abbey part, there are three performing groups along the route.

  • 6:45pm The Lantern Parade arrives at Workman Bridge

  • 6:45pm Parade to the end of bridge and back again

  • 7:00pm Tree of Light Switch-on
